The border opens at 8:00am (Jordan time), so we recommend the pickup time from your hotel is at 7:00 am so as to arrive the border when it opens and allows you to catch the first shuttle bus between the Jordanian and Israeli terminals. The first bus leaves 30 minutes after the border opens. Program: Transfer from your hotel to Allenby, after crossing both sides you will be met by our agent and head to Jerusalem and start the tour with a drive to the top of Mt. of Olives, from which Jesus ascended to heaven after his resurrection, from the top of the Mount enjoy a magnificent view over all of ancient and modern Jerusalem, the center of the biblical world. Then we will take you to walk down the "Palm Sunday Road" visiting the Chapel of Dominus Flevit (Jesus wept) enroute to the Garden of Gethsemane and the Church of All Nations where Christ prayed on the night of his betrayal . Next we shall enter within the old Walled City of Jerusalem to visit the Church of the Holy Sepulchre. We shall visit the last standing remnant of the ancient Temple at the Western (Wailing) Wall and visit Al Aqsa Mosque and the Dome of the Rock and some of the exciting Archaeological sites in and around the Old City. In the afternoon a short drive to Bethlehem, visit the Nativity Church marking the birthplace of Jesus. Then visit the Grotto, the Church of St Catharine and St. Jerome Caves were the bible was translated from Hebrew to Latin language. Visit the Shepherds' Field in Beit Sahour where the angels' announcement of the birth of Jesus is remembered. Transfer back to Allenby for your return to Jordan, met by our driver at the Jordan side and drive back to your hotel. We go to Mount Zion. Visit Church of the Dormition, the place where Virgin Mary fell asleep. Visit Cenacle, also known as the “Upper Room”, the site of The Last Supper. Visit Dome of the Rock (Closed on Friday & Saturday) and the Western Wall. Continue to visit Saint Peter Gallicantu (Closed on Sunday), which symbolizes Peter’s denial of Jesus. Transfer back to Allenby for your return to Jordan, met by our driver at the Jordan side and drive back to your hotel.
